Canada: Man arrested, charged following twin shootings in Brampton, Ontario

Brampton, Sept 3 (IBNS): A 27-year old man was arrested and charged following twin shootings, which took place on Sunday, in Brampton, Ontario, media reports said.

The shooting had left two men dead and one woman seriously injured.

Patrick Doyle, the accused, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.

Police said they believe deaths were "targeted" and appeared to be related", CBC News reported.

The shooting took place at 12:45 am on Sunday.

Police officers were called to the area of Vodden Street East and Garfield Crescent near Kennedy Road North after a gunfire was reported.
