Toronto, Sept 22 (IBNS): A 38-year-old man succumbed to his injuries, after a fall early Wednesday morning at Hamilton's Devil's Punchbowl waterfall in Canada.

According to a police statement that was released in the morning, the death is not considered suspicious.

Eight firefighters were called to the scene in the morning at 7:30 am.

Emergency Medical Services responded as well, and both performed the rescue operations together, from the top of the waterfall.

"It's no longer a rescue, it's a recovery," said Claudio Mostacci from the Hamilton Fire Department .

The Emergency Medical Service team confirmed the man had died around 7:47 am.
