Canada: Ontario house explosion kills one person
Kitchener, Aug 22 (IBNS): One person was killed in a house explosion which took place in Kitchener, Ontario on Wednesday morning, media reports said.
Kitchener fire chief Jon Rehill said the firefighters were called to home at 8.10 am.
Emergency crews found out one woman was dead and one injured in the backyard of the house.
Police told media that they could not identify the victims and understand the reasons behind their presence at the property.
Rehill said that the house was completely damaged by the fire.
The houses on either side were also affected by the explosion.
The cause of the fire is yet to be known.
