Canada PM Justin Trudeau to visit India, will focus on trade
Ottawa, Jan 23 (IBNS): Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will visit India next month with a primary aim to develop and strengthen the trade relations between the two nations.
Trudeau took to Twitter to announce his scheduled visit to India. "Next month, I’ll travel to India to meet with leaders in government & business to strengthen the close friendship between our two countries."

Trudeau will tour India between Feb 17 and 23.
The Canada PM will visit Agra, Amritsar, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and New Delhi during his stay in India.
Trudeau will engage with Indian leaders in talks related to government and business, empowerment of women and girls and economic ties between the two countries.
He will discuss the ways with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to create good, middle class jobs for people of both the nations.
Apart from bilateral talks, Trudeau is scheduled to visit prominent Indian places like Taj Mahal in Agra, Golden Temple in Amritsar and Swaminarayan Akshardham in Gujarat.
Speaking about his upcoming India visit, Trudeau said: "Canada and India share a special bond, and are linked by tremendous people-to-people connections. The more than one million Canadians of Indian origin make the relationship between our two countries a truly special one."
"I look forward to meeting with Prime Minister Modi, and further strengthening the Canada-India friendship.,” he added.
