CGI Toronto intensifies political-economic relations with New Brunswick in his visit
The focus of the visit was to intensify political and economic relations between the province of New Brunswick and India.
The discussions identified agriculture, agro-processing, energy, education and tourism among the potential areas.
India is among the largest trading partners of New Brunswick.
The Consul General also visited the University of New Brunswick.
The University has expressed keenness to admit more International Indian students.
Bhatia also interacted with the Indian diaspora community at New Brunswick and took note of their comments and suggestions with respect to the consulate’s functioning in the country.
