Washington, Jun 25 (IBNS): A front runner among the US Presidential candidates, Donald J Trump, who had supported Brexit, said that the situation in the US is similar and people want their country back.

Taking to Twitter, Trump slammed counterpart Hillary Clinton and termed her a disaster.

"Crooked Hillary called it totally wrong on BREXIT - she went with Obama - and now she is saying we need her to lead. She would be a disaster," he said.

Trump, who's campaign motto is 'Make America Great Again', said that Americans are equating Brexit with what's happening in the US and wants their country back.

"Many people are equating BREXIT, and what is going on in Great Britain, with what is happening in the U.S. People want their country back!," Trump tweeted.

The billionaire also took on the role of a soothsayer as he prophesied a Brexit encore for him in November, later this year.
