Dhaka: Bodies of two students found in hotel room

Dhaka, Apr 3 (IBNS): Bodies of two students have been recovered from Hotel Samrat on Dhaka’s Green Road in Bangladesh, media reports said on Wednesday.

Police recovered the bodies from a room on the eighth floor around 4:30pm,  Tejgaon Police OC Mazharul Islam told bdnews24 news portal.

The dead have initially been identified as Aminul Islam, a student of Tejgaon College University, and Mariam Chowdhury, a student of World University, the police told the newsportal.

As per reports, the two people identified themselves as married couple as they checked into the hotel.

The newsportal said in its report, Noticing that the couple had not left their room until Tuesday afternoon, authorities of the hotel went to the room and called for them.But after their calls went unheeded, the authorities informed the police of the matter.

Police later arrived in the hotel and found the two bodies.
