Nigeria: Three-story building collapses in Abuja, several feared trapped under debris

Abuja: A three-story under construction building collapsed in Nigerian capital Abuja which has left several people trapped under debris.

Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) disclosed that the incident happened at midnight on Friday, The Guardian reported.

The Guardian reported officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) have commenced rescue operations at the scene.

The casualty in the incident is still not known.

An eyewitness told the newspaper some injured persons have been rescued and taken to a nearby hospital.
