A Christian community member has asked the government to take notice of the alleged illegal occupation of his occupational home by a land-grabbing mafia, media reports said.

Speaking at a press conference at the Peshawar Press Club, Javed Masih, accompanied by Shahzad Masih and other family members, claimed to The News International that their ancestral home on Kohati Muhammad Ali Jauhar Road has been forcibly occupied by an armed group from Hazarkhwani.

He said the house was their family inheritance and they have been staying there for years.

He said they had been evicted from their house.

He said they have filed a complaint with local authorities but no action has been taken.
