Pakistan: PDM chief urges entire nation to 'march' towards Islamabad on Mar 23

Islamabad: Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman Monday urged the entire nation to march towards Islamabad on Mar 23  for an anti-government long march.

"People should be ready for staying in Islamabad [...] we are not sure till when will the long march last," Fazl told journalists as quoted by Geo News after Senator Faisal Javed announced that the PTI's rally in Islamabad will take place on March 27 and the vote on the no-confidence motion will take place a day after.

Senator Faisal Javed on Monday announced that the no-confidence motion voting against the Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan-led PTI government will take place after Mar 27.

The PTI Senator confirmed the date by tweeting.

"The biggest jalsa of Islamabad will take place on March 27 (Sunday). Prime Minister Imran Khan will deliver a historic speech. And the voting on the no-confidence motion will take place after March 27," he tweeted.
