Philippines: Voting starts in presidential elections
Polling started at 6 am.
Five candidates are contesting for the post.
The winner will succeed Benigno Aquino III.
His six-year term will end on June 30.
Voting is taking place under tight security.
"More than 100,000 police officers are on duty. Fifteen people have been killed so far during the election campaign. On Saturday a mayoral candidate was murdered in the south," BBC reported.
