Sri Lanka: Chinese tourist miraculously survives after falling from moving train while clicking video for social media post
A Chinese tourist miraculously survived after her attempt to shoot a video for a social media post turned dangerous when a tree branch hit her and she fell from a moving train on Sri Lanka's coastal railway line.
The incident reportedly occured on Saturday.
The train was travelling from Wellawatte to Bambalapitiya.
The footage of her mishap is now viral on the social media.
In the video, the woman could be seen holding onto the railings and leaning back in her attempt to click a perfect shot.
A tree branch hits the woman and she falls from the train.
The man behind the camera can be heard shouting while passengers look on in horror, reported The Sun.
The train halted in the next stoppage and passengers rushed to help the woman.
Luckily, the Chinese tourist survived since she landed in the bushes.
Meanwhile, sharing the post, X page user Daily Sherlock wrote: "A Chinese tourist had a heart-stopping moment while traveling on Sri Lanka's coastal railway line. She fell from the train after being struck by a tree branch while trying to record a video."
