Washington, Nov 22 (IBNS): US President-elect Donald Trump on Tuesday batted for UKIP leader Nigel Farage as the UK ambassador to the Unites States of America.

Extending his support towards Farage, the billionaire tweeted, "Many people would like to see @Nigel_Farage represent Great Britain as their Ambassador to the United States. He would do a great job!"

Trump, set to sworn in as the 45th President of the United States, surprised many by winning the US Presidential polls earlier this month.

Trump secured victory against his opponent Hillary Clinton, former First Lady of the State.
