Baltimore Police have issued an arrest warrant against 32-year-old Jason Dean Billingsley over the killing of a tech company CEO in the US city.

Billingsley is wanted for 1st Degree Murder in the killing of 26-year-old Pava LaPere.

Pava LaPere's professional accomplishments even earned her a spot on the noted Forbes 30 under 30 list earlier this year.

'Billingsley was previously arrested in 2013, 2011 and 2009 for multiple charges to include sex offense, 2nd degree assault charges and robbery," read a statement issued by Baltimore Police Department.

BPD’s Special Investigations Section is working to determine potential connections to Billingsley and other cases.

The Warrant Apprehension Task Force, alongside the U.S. Marshals’ Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force (CARFTF) are actively attempting to apprehend this suspect.

Police said Billingsley is considered armed and dangerous.

LaPere was found dead in her Mount Vernon apartment building Monday with signs of blunt-force trauma, police said.

EcoMap Technologies mourned her death and wrote on Facebook: "It is with profound sadness and shock that EcoMap announces the tragic and untimely passing of our beloved founder and CEO, Pava LaPere."

"The news has shaken us all deeply. In the coming days, we will keep our community informed about the ways we will be honoring Pava's enduring legacy. For now, we hope you join us in keeping her family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers," the company said.
