US President Donald Trump slams UK PM May for criticism over anti-Muslim video

Washington, Nov 30 (IBNS): Triggering a controversy, US President Donald Trump has urged Theresa May to focus on "terrorism" in the UK after the British Prime Minister criticised him for sharing 'anti-Muslim' videos.

".@Theresa_May, don’t focus on me, focus on the destructive Radical Islamic Terrorism that is taking place within the United Kingdom. We are doing just fine!," Trump tweeted.

Trump had earlier retweeted three inflammatory videos that were shared on social media by a British far-right group.

As per BBC report, May's spokesman said it was "wrong for the president to have done this".

The videos that have been retweeted by the US President were initially shared on social media by  deputy leader of Britain First Jayda Fransen.

Britain First is a group that was founded by former members of the far-right British National Party (BNP).

Fransen's first video claimed to show a Muslim migrant attacking a person on crutches.

Two more inflammatory videos were also shared by Fransen.
