Washington/UNI/Sputnik: The US Senate passed a short-term spending bill to keep the federal government operating through Mar 11.
The US Senate passed the measure on Thursday with a 65-27 vote, sending it to President Joe Biden's desk to be signed into law.
US government funding is set to expire at midnight on Friday.
