Admit Card for SSC CGL Tier 2 to Release Soon. Check Here for More Details

Staff Selection Commission will release the admit cards for SSC CGL Tier II in the first week of February. So, all the candidates will be able to download their admit cards 10-15 days before the exam which is scheduled to be conducted from February 17-22, 2018.

Hall Ticket for SSC CGL is a mandatory document that is needed to give this online entrance examination as it has all the necessary details about the examinee such as name, date of birth, roll number and examination venue.

How to Download Admit cards?

All the candidates can download their admit cards from the official website of SSC. These admit cards are available according to different regions. So, first of all, the candidates should visit the official website and click on the ‘Admit card’ link there. After this, a new window will be opened which will provide you links for various SSC regions, click on the link for your region. After this, you will be redirected to the regional website where you can find the link for Tier II admit cards.

You can easily download the Tier II admit cards by entering your registration number or roll number along with the password or date of birth. The admit cards of different regions will be available on different dates, so all the candidates should keep a check on the official website.

Various SSC Regions
As mentioned earlier, there are various SSC regions - Western Region, North Eastern Region, Southern Region, Kerala Karnataka Region, North Region, Eastern Region, Madhya Pradesh Region, Central Region and North Western Region. All the Tier I qualified candidates can download the admit cards by clicking on the link of their region.

For example, if you are a candidate from North Region, you will click on the link and you will be directed to the page for downloading the Tier II exam admit card. All the candidates should take the printout of the admit cards as it is a mandatory document to appear for the exam.

Rescheduled Tier II Exam and Other Tier Exams

The exam for SSC CGL Tier II was earlier scheduled to be held from January 18 to 20, 2018, but was postponed.

The Tier I exam was held from Aug 5 to Aug 23, 2017, in an online mode. The Tier II exam will also be conducted in the online mode and it will be followed by Tier III exam which is scheduled to be held on March 31, 2018. It will be a pen and paper mode descriptive exam which will involve essay writing, letter writing and applications in Hindi or English language.

The Tier III exam will be followed by Tier IV which will a Computer Proficiency Test or a Skill Test or Document Verification depending on the posts. After this, the final result of the selected candidates will be declared.

Exam Pattern for Tier II exam

The Tier II exam will be spread over four sections: Quantitative Ability, English Language & Comprehension, Statistics (Paper 1&2) and General Studies (Finance and Economics) (Paper 1&2). The total time for the exam will be 120 minutes.

Quantitative aptitude, Statistics (Paper 1&2) and General Studies section will include 100 questions and English Language & Comprehension section will include 200 questions. Each section will be of 200 marks.
