BSDU enters in MoU with Rajasthan ILD Skill University

Jaipur, Feb 1 (IBNS): Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU) and Rajasthan ILD Skills University (RISU) on occasion of valediction ceremony of around 200 trainers who have participated in training of trainers from 11 districts of Rajasthan.

With an aim to promote more effective use of universities’ resources and provide students with enhanced opportunities, BSDU has signed this MoU with Rajasthan ILD Skills University. Dr. Lalit K Panwar IAS, VC of Rajasthan ILD Skills University and Dr. (Brig.) Surjit Singh Pabla, Vice Chancellor, BSDU validated the objectives highlighted under the MoU along with other dignitary guests.

Students will benefit from the most updated information on potential opportunities that the universities will share with each other.  Both the universities will carry out bilateral exchange of students for skills training at each other’s institute.  In addition to above, MoU will also facilitate training of trainers and preparation and updating curriculum for various courses offered at both the universities.

Ashok Chandna, State Minister for Skill Development, Employability and Entrepreneurship said, “Nowadays competition is so fierce in every industry that students have to decide and prepare early during school years. With ever increasing competition, integration of skill in education will play imperative role in shaping New India and BSDU is playing an important role in transforming skill landscape of Rajasthan.”



According to Dr. (Brig.) Surjit Singh Pabla, President of BSDU, “The objective of the MoU is to facilitate student exchange between RISU and BSDU and also to foster training of trainers from both the universities.  We are very happy to receive IIC certification from Ministry of HRD, Government of India for our efforts towards promoting innovation and developing scientific temperament among students. We believe that this is the road ahead.”
