CBSE Class 10th: 13 students get 499 marks

New Delhi, May 6 (UNI) Altogether 13 students from across the country secured 499 out of 500 marks in Class 10th Board results which were announced here on Monday by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

According to CBSE, Siddhant Pengoriya of Lotus Valley International School 2, Noida, secured 499 marks followed by Divyansh Wadhwa of Bal Bharti Public School, Noida.

The other students who secured 499 marks are---Yogesh Kumar Gupta of St Patrick's school, Jaunpur, Ankur Mishra of S A J school, Vasundhara, Vatsal Vashney of Dewan Public School, Meerut, Manya of St Xavier's school Bhatinda, Aryan Jha of Nand Vidya Niketan, Jamnagar, Ajmer.

The list also includes the names of Taru Jain of St. Angela Sophia Sr Sec School, Jaipur, Rajasthan, Bhavana N Sivadas of Kerala, Ish Madan of Ghaziabad, Divjot Kaur Jaggi of Panchkula, Apoorva Jain of Ghaziabad, and Shivani Lath of Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.

Of 13 toppers, six are girls.

This year a total of 16,04,428 students passed the Class 10th Board exam which were held from February 15 to April 4.

An increase of 4.40 per cent was registered in pass percentage. Last year, 86.70 students could pass the examination.
