A fund raiser event for Hope Kolkata Foundation will be held and the proceeds will go for children without access to education and basic necessity.

At total of 42 celebrities and socialites  would walk the ramp to support the cause and enlighten the minds of others to think differently towards the society.

The event is produced by Spicy Entertainment and initiated by Peedee. The celebrities who will be taking part from Bollywood, Tellywood and Tollywood industry are June Maliah, Mumtaz Sorcar, Arjun Chakraborty, Diandra Soares, Mannara Chopra, Abir Chatterjee, Dimpy Ganguly, Agnimitra Paul & many others. At the press meet, Dalia Mukherjee, Event & Concept Maker said, “It’s a moment of great pride and joy to see that our initiative is supported by socialites whole-heartedly. The role of the celebrities in terms of encouraging people to come forward also plays a very crucial role for this event. At the end of the day, if those who have achieved something in their lives don’t look back and lend a helping hand, then there is no point to society. Such encouragement is what makes the fabric of society or knits society together. ’’

Speaking to the media, Brahma, Director of Sales Novotel said, “We feel obliged to be associated with such a noble cause and appreciate efforts in such a positive direction for the betterment of society. It feels good to work for a social cause.”

Actor Hiran Chatterjee said, “It feels good to walk the ramp for a social cause. We always work for money and this will be one of those privileged moments to do something for the street kids.’’

Fashion designer Snehashish Bhattacharya said, “All of us have so many things in our homes that we do not have use for – good clothes, books, medication, bits of furniture and small things. These are things, if we donate, will go to a family that will use it. This kind of sharing really needs to become a part of the fabric of society as it will help bridge the divide.. ’’
