IIT Guwahati research park foundation launches iDEATE 2023 to foster innovation and entrepreneurship

Guwahati/IBNS: IIT Guwahati Research Park Foundation (IITGRP) has recently unveiled iDEATE 2023, an exclusive startup pitch program, at the Research Park on the IIT Guwahati campus.

The program aims to cultivate ingenious ideas from young entrepreneurs and provide them with the necessary support to develop sustainable business models, reported Guwahati Plus.

iDEATE 2023 comprises a comprehensive array of components, including outreach programs, boot camps, mentoring sessions led by domain experts, and recognition through prestigious awards for the most promising ventures.

Participants in the program will receive a certification from IITG Research Park, valuable access to mentoring sessions conducted by industry professionals, and a unique opportunity to engage with potential investors in person.

The program will encompass crucial aspects such as idea pitching, expert talks, startup fundraising, and mentoring, ensuring that participants have access to invaluable resources and expert guidance.

iDEATE 2023 has garnered substantial backing from the Infrastructure Development Finance Company, IDFC First Bank. The winners of the program will be granted the opportunity to join the IDFC First Bank Leap to Unicorn program, which provides further support and resources to scale their startups.

The program launch witnessed the presence of distinguished personalities including Geetima Das Krishna, Head NE Help Desk, Invest India, Sidharth Bedi Varma, CEO of G Plus, and Suprateek Roy, Client Service Partner Startup Banking at IDFC First Bank.

The Research Park at IIT Guwahati envisions the advancement of technology-based innovators, entrepreneurs, and companies of all sizes.

Offering tailor-made spaces, shared equipment, incubation facilities, mentorship programs, and funding opportunities, the Research Park aims to create a thriving ecosystem that nurtures the growth and success of startups as well as established companies.

Eligible applicants for iDEATE 2023 include students, entrepreneurs, and startups. The registration window opened on June 15 and will conclude on June 30, providing aspiring participants with a limited time frame to seize this promising opportunity.
