JW Marriott Kolkata gears up to celebrate their First Christmas with food lovers

Kolkata, Dec 23 (IBNS) Celebrations begin at JW Kitchen with the quintessential Marriott flair. The all day dining restaurant which has always taken pride in their buffet has come up with a splendid spread on the occasion of Christmas Eve on Dec 24 priced at INR 1599++.

The open interactive kitchens and stations will serve an elaborate selection featuring Indian, Continental and Asian favorites. A few of the delicacies on offer include ‘Grilled Aubergine & cherry tomato confit’, ‘Poached squid, bok choy & glass noodle salad’. As we all know, Christmas is never complete without roasts and items like ‘Spice Roasted Butterball Turkey’ and ‘Stuffed Chicken Roulade with Apricot’, ’Pistachio and Chestnuts’ will be on offer at the Carvery counter. Without desserts, a meal is not complete, so gorge on some Christmas special desserts like ‘Coconut Passion Yule Log’, ‘JW Marriott Christmas special Plum Cake’, ‘Croquembouche’, ‘Nuts & Marzipan Stolen’ among others.

Launching their regular Sunday brunch on Christmas, they have for you a Sunday Christmas Brunch on 25th December priced at INR 1599++. Start your day with ‘Mozzarella & Burrata bar’ – a healthy salad served in a jar. Along with roasts there will be a variety of mains like ‘Braised Lamb Steaks with Preserved Lemons Mint and Apricot’, ‘Provencal Seafood Stew’, ‘Potato Lyonnais’. End your Sunday on a sweet note, with ‘Chocolate raspberry’, ‘cassis jelly’, ‘Christmas cake’, ‘Linzer Torte’ and many more


Vintage Asia

Gear up for a fun-filled Oriental Christmas celebration at Vintage Asia. The newly opened signature Asian restaurant is offering specially prepared Asian menu by the expat chefs – Chef Tan and Chef Ninja.

On the occasion of Christmas Eve, on 24th December get a taste of delights like ‘Har Gow’, ‘Crispy Fried Prawn in wasabi mayonnaise and schezuan pepper salt’, ‘Mapo tofu, celery, young corn, Szechuan pepper corn’, ‘Stir Fried crispy Bay of Bengal Bekti’, ‘Thai Saam Ros Sauce’ and ‘Homemade ice cream – Maccha / tender coconut / sesame chocolate’ which are part of the special menu priced at INR 1899++.

Christmas Lunch on 25th December is equally fulfilling with dishes like ‘Edamame and truffle’, ‘Bangkok grilled Satay (Chicken / Prawn)’, ‘Shanghai style crispy noodles, mushroom stew, shallots’. Some the specialties of Vintage Asia are also on offer on Christmas like ‘Spiced caramelized pork belly, pineapple, crispy garlic’. It is specially crafted with a lot of effort and prepped for over 3 days before it is served to you. Another specialty is the dessert ‘Tub Tim Krob, chilled jellied water chestnut in sweetened coconut cream’. All of this priced at INR 1899++
