Kolkata: Soft skill training academy Success Scholar hosts sit and draw contest
Kolkata/IBNS: Kolkata-based soft skill training academy Success Scholar recently hosted a Sit and Draw competition in the city's Lake Gardens in a joint collaboration with Jodhpur Pragati Sangha Club.
Inaugurated in the presence of Success Scholar founder Tuhin Kumar Saha and local councillor Mousumi Das, the event saw a footfall of more than 100 participants among various age groups.
The Durga Puja Khuti Puja (pole worship) ceremony was also held on the same day to mark the auspicious festival of Durga Puja. Local people came forward together to ensure the ceremony is celebrated with warmth.
People danced, and enjoyed every bit of the afternoon on the club premises.
Food packets were distributed amongst all the participants who took part in the Sit and Draw competition and later in the evening the rank holders from different age groups were felicitated by additional award followed by a dance event. It was indeed a celebratory day marking the onset of the festival of Bengal – The Durga Puja.
