Kolkata: Urmila to present Bande Nrityam 2019 on June 23

Kolkata, June 15 (IBNS): Urmila is all set to present Bande Nrityam  at 5pm onward at in Kolkata's Rabindra Sadn.

The event will mark Urmila's pre-20th Year celebration.

The main feature of the program shall be Purush o Prokriti,   a dance drama by Guru Urmila Bhowmick and  her students along with Kohinoor Sen Barat with his students.

They shall be supported on vocals by popular singers Srikanto Acharya and Jayati Chakraborty.

Urmila Bhowmick is one of the foremost practitioners of Odissi style of dance and her school is celebrating it's pre 20th year.
 
Noted music composer Kalyan Sen Barat shall be felicitated on completion of 50 years  of his musical journey 

Bidrohi, an experimental presentation along with a  Retro section will also feature Urmila's students and the show ends with  Kalmrigaya.
