Kolkata: West Bengal State Akademi of Dance Drama Music and Visual Arts to hold a ten-day workshop on 'Set Design in Different Media' with a one-day seminar at Jorasanko Thakurbari from Sept 10

Kolkata, Sept 8 (IBNS): The West Bengal State Akademi of Dance Drama Music and Visual Arts, Rabindra Bharati University, will hold a ten-day workshop on 'Set Design in Different Media', including a one-day seminar, at the Jorasanko Thakurbari here, from Sept 10 to Sept 19, between 10 am and 3 every day.

The workshop will be inaugurated by the well-known theatre personality Bibhas Chakraborty on September 10 at 11 am

It will be conducted by Sanchayan Ghosh of Kala Bhavan, Visva Bharati University from Sept 10 to 13, by Subrata Majumder, the well-known expert on light design, onSeptember 14, and by Sanjit Ghosh of Ramoji Film City from Sept 15 to 17.

On the last day (September 19, 2015) a seminar will be held where  Dr. Tarun Pradhan, professor, Department of Drama, Rabindra Bharati University, Kallol Bhattacharya, well-known theatre personality and Subhabrata Singha Roy, professor, Department of Drama, Rabindra Bharati University will participate.
