Kolkata/Mumbai, Jan 27 (IBNS): Lakmé Salon has teamed up with couturier Amit Aggarwal for a showcase at Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 17.

The eminent designer and backstage experts come together to present a show-stopping collection at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017 on Feb 1.

Speaking about the theme and the collaboration, designer Amit Aggarwal said, "This is an exciting collaboration with Lakme Salon. We share the same sensibilities about presenting something unique and relevant with an environmentally conscious approach. When we talk about being pro-environment, it’s not only about going organic. There are so many by-products of technology and industries that can be incorporated intelligently into your design.” The AM.IT X Lakmé Salon, Summer Resort collection derives inspiration from millions of unusable, unclaimed pieces of heritage.

Talking about the collection’s inspiration, Shailesh Moolya, National Creative Director, Hair, Lakmé Salon said, “Hair couture has never been so fashionably dramatic. With hairdos that will create vogues out of waste, you can be rest assured we will get heads turning!”
