Kolkata/IBNS: For those who would love to take a cup of latte with a heart drawn on the foam to their Valentine on the special day, Lavazza India had organised a coffee training session recently in Kolkata.

Lavazza India is part of the well-known Turin-based Italian brand, Lavazza, founded in 1895.

The workshop was led by Lavazza's Head Trainer Abdul Sahid Khan.

The two-hour workshop provided information on the origin of latte and the processes involved in order to brew and consume latte in the right way.

The event also included a fun latte art corner installed, where participants learned techniques to create the perfect milk foaming and tried out Valentine’s Day inspired latte art designs.

He also offered tips on how to brew the perfect cup at home.

“Coffee has always been a drink which brings people together; it goes beyond being just a beverage, it is aconnector. Our initiative aims to create the same feeling by bringing coffeelovers under the same roof to celebrate and reflect on the power of coffee inour lives," said Rachna Anbumani, Vice-President, Marketing - Lavazza India.

"Although we consume coffee every day, not many of us give a thoughton what it takes to brew one perfect cup of coffee or the difference between acappuccino or a latte. With this project, Lavazza aims to spread the love outfor a perfect cup of coffee”, said Anbumani.

The varieties of coffee on offer include Qualità Oro, Qualità Rosso, Club, Caffè Espresso, Perfetto Espresso, Caffè Crema, Gran Aroma Bar, Super Crema, Crema e Gusto, Crema e Aroma, Top Class, Grand'Espresso, and coffee capsules A Modo Mio, "Espresso Point" and Lavazza Blue.
