Nyibu Kumnam Alo Celebrated in Arunachal Pradesh with cultural enthusiasm

Arunachal Pradesh/IBNS: The foundation day of Donyi Polo Namlo Nyibu Kumnam Alo was commemorated at the cultural hall in Upper Subansiri district, Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday.

 

The event witnessed the participation of indigenous priests and followers of Donyi Poloism, representing various Donyi Polo namlos in the district, reported The Arunachal Times.

Prominent figures, including MLA Taniya Soki and MLA Rode Bui, emphasized the significance of cultural preservation and promotion, highlighting Arunachal Pradesh's rich cultural heritage.

The occasion featured ritual chanting dedicated to the wellbeing of humankind and other cultural activities, showcasing the cultural diversity and traditions of the indigenous communities.
