13 college students on picnic drown in sea in Maharashtra's Raigad

Mumbai, Feb 1 (IBNS): Thirteen students of a Pune-based college were drowned at the Murud beach, near Alibaug in Raigad district while on a picnic on Monday, media reports said.
According to police, the bodies of 10 girls and three boys have been pulled out. 
 
Five students are undergoing treatment.
 
About 115 students from the Abida Inaamdar College in Pune went for the picnic to the Murud beach, which is a popular tourist spot when the incident happened.
 
Rescue operations by the police and firemen are currently going on.
