Lucknow/IBNS: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed his deepest condolence on the death of 43 people due to the thurderstorm that lashed the state on May 30 and announced an ex gratia of Rs 4 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased, said media reports.

A Hindustan Times report said, the Relief Commissioner’s Office said that a total of 43 people were killed due to thuderstorm and lightning in various districts of Uttar Pradesh on May 30.

The Chief Minister asked the officials to reach out to the affected people with utmost urgency and ensure proper treatment to the injured.
