5.1 earthquake hits Nicobar Islands
New Delhi, Nov 9 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter Scale rocked Nicobar Islands on Monday, officials said.
The IMD called the intensity of the quake as 'Moderate'.
The epicentre of the earthquake, which hit at 11:42am local time, was located at latitude 6.5 degrees north and longitude 94.8 degrees east.
It had a depth of 10 km.
No casualty has been reported so far.
