AAP leaders meet Yogendra Yadav

| | Mar 17, 2015, at 03:34 pm
New Delhi, Mar 17 (IBNS): Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders met Yogendra Yadav at his residence on Monday.

AAP leaders Sanjay Singh, Kumar Vishwas, Ashutosh among others present in the meeting.

Speaking to media, Yadav said, "My colleagues from AAP came and met me. We had a good talk and it will continue. We will let you know when talks are complete."

Vishwas said: "We are like a family and once a result is reached after the talks we will inform you."

The move is likely to have been taken to end the ongoing crisis within the AAP.

Earlier, in the National Executive meeting held on March 4,  Yadav and  Bhushan were removed from the party's Political Affairs Committee.

Widening the rift further within the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the party MLAs have had earlier asked the top leadership to remove senior eaders Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan to set an example for others.

In the letter, they have charged the two senior leaders of 'anti-party activities', 'making adverse statements in the media', 'conspiracy to tarnish the image of Delhi CM and party supremo Arvind Kejriwal and remove him' among others.

Meanwhile, Kejriwal has returned to Delhi after undergoing 10 days of naturopathy treatment in Bangalore.
