Accident: Hyva kills 5 years old in Giridih

Giridih, Jul 3 (UNI) A five-year-old child was run over by a speeding Hyva under Hirodih Police Station area of this district following which people blocked traffic movement on the Koderma-Giridih road.

The deceased child has been identified as Raja Kumar (5) of Balidih village. The family members said that the boy with his grandmother was going to a shop when he was hit a speeding Hyva which was going to Jamua from Koderma.

The agitated villagers later managed to chase the Hyva driver who was caught and handed over to the police after which they blocked traffic movement on the road demanding compensation.
