Actor Sanjay Dutt likely to return to Yerwada Central Jail today
Dutt, 55, had taken furlough for 14 days on grounds of illness and had sought an extension of 14 more days.
Sources said that Mumbai Police submitted a report following which Yerwada Central Jail authorities in Pune rejected the actor’s application.
Dutt was convicted in the Mumbai serial blasts case for illegal possession an AK-56 rifle and its destruction.
He was released on a 14-day furlough by the Yerwada Central Jail authorities on December 24 as he wanted to be with his family in the New Year, reports said.
