Police could not ascertain their identity yet despite repeated interrogation however, doctors attending the lady stated that she was under severe stress and psychological trauma. Police claimed that the mother and her daughter have never seen in the locality and they might have faced serious threat.

A housewife of Shantipur area under Salema police station of Kamalpur subdivision yesterday early morning had noticed a child weeping in an abandoned cowshed outside their house. Later, she found that the infant was left alone inside a cane stag. The villagers after searching the area recovered a young mother from a corner.
