Air Force Station Bagdogra celebrates Kargil Vijay Diwas

Kolkata, July 28 (IBNS): In order to commemorate and mark the decisive victory over adversaries in Kargil War, Air Force Station Bagdogra celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas  from 20-28 July 2019. 

The celebrations were inaugurated by Group Captain RC Pathak, Station Commander,  Air Force Station Bagdogra .

As part of the celebrations, various activities like audio visual display on achievements of Kargil  War, Victory Run, inter-school painting/debate competition were conducted at the station where air warriors, their families and school children took part, said an official statement.

The celebration  was a tribute to the Veterans who made the Indian Air Force and the nation proud by their valour and sacrifice.
