Andhra Pradesh: Biennial polls to five seats of Council on Mar 15, announces ECI

New Delhi/UNI: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Thursday announced biennial elections to five seats of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council on Mar 15.

The term of five members of the Council is expiring on Mar 29, 2021.

The notification will be issued on Feb 25 while the polling will be held on Mar 15, Monday, from 9 am to 4 pm with Covid-19 protocols in place.

The counting will take place from 5 pm on the same day, the ECI said.

The five members include Gundumala Thippe Swamy,Gummidi Sandhya Rani,Vattikuti Veera Venkanna Chowdary,Shaik Mohammed Iqbal and Subhaschandra Bose Pilli.
