Anything can happen in cricket and politics, says Nitin Gadkari

Nagpur/UNI: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Saturday said that anything could happen in cricket and politics.

'I had earlier said that anything can happen in cricket and politics, now you can understand what I meant,' Gadkari further said.

Gadkari stated that BJP and NCP would give stable government and good governance in the state.

He was speaking at 'Khasdar Mahotsav' cultural fest here.

In an abrupt, one of rarest moves in the Indian politics, Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar took oath as Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra respectively earlier this morning.

The move came when deliberations between Congress, NCP and Shiv Sena had apparently reached a final stage.

The BJP after winning 105 seats in the 288-member assembly, emerged as the single-largest party in the state. However, it could not stake claim to form government as its ally Shiv Sena remained firm on rotating the chief minister’s post.
