New Delhi, Mar 15 (IBNS): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has reportedly apologised to ex-Punjab minister Bikram Singh Majithia for saying the latter was involved in drug trade in the northern state, media reports said.

Majithia, who had sued Kejriwal for the comment, furnished the Delhi CM's apology letter in the court on Thursday.

In the letter, Kejriwal said: "..I've learnt that allegations are unfounded. Hence there should be no politics on such issues."

"I hereby withdraw my statements and allegations made against you and apologise for the same" the Delhi CM added.

The letter has been accessed by NDTV.
