Guwahati, Feb 19 (IBNS): Amidst anger against Pakistan over the Pulwama terror attack, Assam BJP MLA Mrinal Saikia said that, the government should declare war against the neighbouring country.

Reacting over Pulwama terror attack, the Assam BJP legislator on Tuesday during the ongoing budget session in the Assam Legislative Assembly said that, the government should declare war against Pakistan.

BJP MLA Mrinal Saikia, representing the Khumtai assembly constituency, further said that, "Pakistan should be removed from the world map."

“Pakistan is always running an unofficial war against India. So India should give a decisive reply. Today, I raised this issue in the Assam assembly that an unanimous resolution should be taken that, India should declare a decisive war against Pakistan. Pakistan should be removed from the world map,” the BJP MLA said.

On the other hand, All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) MLA Anuwar Hussain Lashkar said that Narendra Modi should follow Indira Gandhi's action against Pakistan during 1971.

“Why the Prime Minister is doing so much delay. We had seen, what happened with the militants in Mizoram. I request the Prime Minister to do something against Pakistan,” the AIUDF MLA said.
