Assam: Security forces nab NDFB(S) militant
Guwahati, Aug 18 (IBNS) : Security forces have apprehanded a hardcore militant of National Democratic Front of Bodoland (Sangbijit faction) and recovered four hand grenades in Assam's Chirang district on Monday, police said.
Based on intelligence input, the Assam Police and army jointly launched search operation at Bengtol area in Chirang district and nabbed a hardcore NDFB(S) militant.
The nabbed militant was identified as John Daimary.
Security personnel also recovered four hand grenades from him.
