New Delhi, Jan 7 (IBNS): At least eight people, including four students, were feared dead and 25 injured as a Road Transport Corporation bus fell into a gorge in Andhra Pradesh’s Anantpur district on Wednesday, media reports said.

There were over 40 passengers in the bus. Those seriously injured were taken to a hospital in Bengaluru.

The incident took place about 4-km from Penukonda in western part of the state when the bus was heading from Madakasira. New roads were reportedly being laid near the accident site.

Police said the bus fell into the ravine and turned turtle.
