New Delhi, Oct 10 (UNI): The BJP on Thursday lashed out at the Mamata Banerjee government in West Bengal on the law and order situation in the state.

"Yeh kya ho raha hae Didi aapke raj mein (What is this happening in your state Didi)," tweeted BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya.

The missive refers to alleged brutal murder of RSS worker Prakash Pal, his pregnant wife and their eight-year-old kid in Murshidabad district.

"What can be worse than this...," wrote the BJP leader.

He alleged that the incident only shows how law and order situations have deteriorated so much in Trinamool Congress-ruled state.

According to reports, the family lived in Jiaganj area of Murshidabad.

They were stabbed to death by some unidentified miscreants by a sharp-edged weapon. The weapon was later recovered. Police have registered a case of murder and an investigation is on.

BJP and RSS have announced a protest march in Murshidabad on Thursday.
