BJP sends legal notice to AAP chief

New Delhi, Jan 15 (IBNS) The Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday sent legal notice to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal for making allegations against Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay that he had a nexus with power distribution company BSES.

Speaking to reporters, Upadhyay said he has asked Kejriwal to 'prove' all allegations leveled against him with evidence within the next 24 hours.

BJP Delhi tweeted: "Delhi wil see mre of such false allegations in cmng days, dis will increase when Delhi reaches clser 2 election dates. Nt new 4 Kejriwal Ji."

"Mr. Kejriwal ws supposed 2 give proofs 4 his Yesterday's allegations on Satish Upadhyay but he ws absnt frm tday's press confrnce, Scared?" it said.

Kejriwal on Wednesday alleged that there was a nexus between Delhi power companies and the Delhi BJP chief.

He had claimed that Upadhyay's firms were installing and repairing electricity meters for discoms in the national capital.

The party also filed a complaint against the AAP supremo with the Election Commission, reports said.

"BJP to meet EC to complain against Arvind Kejriwal who accused BJP Delhi President Shri @upadhyaysbjp of corruption," BJP Delhi  earlier tweeted.
