BJP will form government in Jharkhand: Raghubar Das

Ranchi/IBNS: Despite trailing behind the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-Congress-Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) alliance, Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Monday said his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will form government in the state as the poll results are coming out.

"The BJP-led government will be formed in Jharkhand," Das said.

As per the latest trends, the alliance is ahead in 42 seats, BJP in 28, JVM in three and Others in five.

The majority mark in 81-member assembly is 41.

The five-phase elections ended on Dec 20.
