BJP's 'hiding' jibe at Rahul after his tweet against Modi and Shah

| @indiablooms | Dec 22, 2019, at 08:03 pm

New Delhi/IBNS: Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, who has been out of India for a while now, on Sunday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah of ruining the future of the youth, but was soon mocked at by BJP for his unexplained absence from the country.

Gandhi took to his twitter handle to attack Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Addressing the youth of the country, he wrote: "Modi & Shah have destroyed your future. They can’t face your anger over the lack of jobs & damage they’ve done to the economy. That’s why they are dividing our beloved 🇮🇳& hiding behind hate.

"We can only defeat them by responding with love towards every Indian."

However, the BJP did not lose any time to lampoon Gandhi over his unexplained absence from the country even as India continues to witness fresh agitation against the amended citizenship act and the National Register of Citizens.

Yesterday, poll strategist and JD(U) leader Prashant Kishor had taken a jibe at the Senior Congress leaders, saying that they had been "largely absent" from the protests when they were expected to lead the agitation against the CAA and NRC.

Though, Kishor faced backlash from Congress and its all weather ally the Rashtriya Janata Dal(RJD), both Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Rahul Gandhi seemed to get back into action on Sunday after being absent from the political scene.
