New Delhi: The CBSE has told the Supreme Court that it has decided to cancel the board exams for remaining papers scheduled from July 1.

The Solicitor General has told the top court to cancel the pending CBSE board exams after Delhi, Maharashtra and Odisha conveyed their inability to conduct them.

The CBSE board exams for classes 10 and 12 were scheduled between July 1 and July 15.

The board will conduct exams when the situation is conducive, it said.

According to media reports, the CBSE told the court that the option to appear for exams later will be given to class 12 students only.
