BSF apprehend narcotics smuggler, seize a large quantity of Ganja, Cough syrup along Indo-Bangladesh border

Guwahati/IBNS: Troops of Border Security Force (BSF) of Guwahati Frontier apprehended one Indian Narcotic smuggler along with prohibited cough syrup and seized huge quantities of ganja along Indo-Bangladesh border.

192 Bn under BSF Guwahati Frontier on Tuesday apprehended one Indian narcotic smuggler along with 100 bottles prohibited cough syrup on Indo-Bangladesh international border near bordering Village Seoti-II of Coochbehar district, West Bengal when he was trying to smuggle the consignment to Bangladesh.

The apprehended narcotic smuggler along with seized items was handed over to Sahibganj police station for further legal action. 
In another operation, troops of 75 Bn BSF under Guwahati Frontier seized 80 kg of Ganja and 90 bottles of  prohibited cough syrup near border village Putiabaramasia of  Coochbehar district, West Bengal.
