BSF holds flag meet with Pakistan Rangers in Samba sector to hand over intruder's body

Jammu/UNI: The troops of Border Security Force on Tuesday conducted Flag meeting with their counterpart Pak Rangers in Samba sector of Jammu region.

Official spokesman here said that the Flag meeting was held in connection with handing over of dead body of Pak National killed on Monday night near Fence.

He said that 11 troops of BSF and 15 troops of Pak Rangers participated in Flag meeting wherein BSF asked Pak Rangers to identify killed Pak National and to provide documents in support. After receipt of documents pertaining to identification of killed Pak National,at about 1515 hours, dead body of Pak national was handed over to Pak Rangers on proper receipt and with full honour.

Killed Pak National was identified as Abdul Hamid, son of Rojdeen, resident of Chaman khurd, Shakargarh, Pakistan. "The meeting ended in a cordial atmosphere," he added.
