CAA: PM Modi launches outreach campaign with hashtag #IndiaSupportsCAA

New Delhi/IBNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched a campaign to support the Citizenship Amendment act(CAA) with the hashatag #IndiaSupportsCAA.

Taking to his official website's twitter handle, the Prime Minister wrote: "#IndiaSupportsCAA because CAA is about giving citizenship to persecuted refugees & not about taking anyone’s citizenship away.

Check out this hashtag in Your Voice section of Volunteer module on NaMo App for content, graphics, videos & more. Share & show your support for CAA."

On Dec 21, BJP had decided to connect with three crore people over the next 10 days to firefight the situation, after massive protests, some of which went violent, followed after the amended citizenship law was passed.

Since then, BJP has been taking out rallies and holding meetings in support of CAA and busting "misinformation" on the National Register of Citizens(NRC).
